Celebrity Summit Cabins & Staterooms on Cruise Critic

The most transformational aspect of our stateroom design is the introduction of the Edge Stateroom with Infinite Veranda®, where with the touch of a button, your entire living space becomes the veranda, letting you walk right out to the water’s edge. These staterooms feature the latest in design and technology, and they’re 23% larger than our award-winning Solstice® Series veranda staterooms. Edge Series accommodations have the latest technology to precisely adjust nearly every comfort feature. Veranda Staterooms add the luxury of outdoor space to enjoy the sweeping ocean views.

There is a large living/dining space complete with dining table and wet bar. The master bedroom includes a large walk-in wardrobe and a vanity; the main bathroom has a jacuzzi with sea views and a separate shower. Reflection's 1,532 cabins span 14 categories, which is a boon for those looking for something a little bit different. The sheer variety of cabins means there's likely something for everyone, whether it's couples, families or big groups traveling together. Our favorites on Reflection are the AquaClass cabins and Spa Suites, which come with a solid variety of perks, including access to the ship's beautiful thermal suite as well as dining at the exclusive Blu restaurant.

What amenities are in all Celebrity Edge staterooms?

They offer 131 to 184 square feet of space with 42- to 45-square-foot interior balcony areas. Larger living spaces and expansive views make Ocean View Staterooms the ideal place to unwind at sea. These perfectly indulgent spaces come furnished with Celebrity’s eXhale® bedding featuring the luxury king-size Cashmere™ Mattress and everything else a modern traveler needs. All cabin bathrooms have a shower with a glass door, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel from dispensers, basin, toilet and storage facilities. As you move higher up the categories, expect tubs, separate showers and twin basins and better hardware such as Hans Grohe shower heads, Bigelow products (for Concierge, Aqua, Celebrity and Sky Suites; top suites have Le Labo products). Solstice has 30 state-of-the-art wheelchair-accessible staterooms, covering a wide range of categories from Inside to Sky Suite.

And, with our state-of-the-art technology, you can precisely adjust nearly every comfort feature of your room. The Retreat includes stunning accommodations, a private restaurant, and exclusive lounge and sundeck that rival any high-end resort. Your dedicated team of attendants, concierges, and butlers will do everything to ensure you never have to lift a finger on vacation. With two double beds and an ocean view window, a private veranda, and a convertible sofa bed, the Premium Stateroom has just what you need for an easy, relaxing sailing. Slip on your complimentary monogrammed robe and slippers and take in the beauty of the Galapagos Islands from your floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows. The Penthouse Suite is the ultimate haven for travelers, and our most spacious suite on Flora is up to 1,288 square feet in size.

Although the smallest cabins come in at 181 square feet, which is smaller than a typical US hotel room (almost double, at 325 square feet), it’s a decent size for a large cruise ship. Suites include personal butlers; in-suite breakfast, lunch and dinner service; in-suite afternoon tea and daily evening hors d'oeuvres; and espresso and cappuccino. A range of other perks includes exclusive use of the restaurant, Luminae, free mini-bars and exclusive use of Michael's Club. Suites feature the services of a butler, who will, among other chores, assist in the moving of heavy luggage as well as packing and unpacking. Facilities are also available for passengers with visual or hearing disabilities.

Whether you’re on a family cruise, a romantic couple’s getaway, or cruising solo, we have a stateroom that’s perfect for you. Like the vessels themselves, the line's cabins are well-appointed and elegant, with modern touches that appeal to a slightly younger-than-average cruise demographic. The luxurious Cashmere Mattress created exclusively for Celebrity Cruises as the newest addition to their famous eXhale bedding program. Available on Celebrity Edge® Series,  Celebrity Apex®, Celebrity Beyond℠, Celebrity Ascent℠, Celebrity Equinox®, Celebrity Silhouette®, Celebrity Millennium®, and Celebrity Summit®. The 178 possible options of connecting staterooms make it easier than ever for families and friends to get together and get away in luxury. Combinations include two adjoining Edge Staterooms with Infinite Verandas connected to become one, and the Iconic Suite and the Royal Suite connected to create our largest unique combination that comfortably sleeps 10.

Or connect the Edge Single Stateroom with Infinite Veranda, with a Deluxe Porthole View with Veranda, to create the perfect space for an accompanying grandparent, nanny, or in-law. Edge Accessible Staterooms are designed with wider doors, roll-in showers, grab bars, and other special features for guests with mobility issues and other disabilities. Aft staterooms are closer to the ship’s vibrations and engine, so keep that in mind if you want as silent of a stateroom location as possible. Forward and aft staterooms tend to have more sway than midship, which is something to keep in mind as you’re booking your room. If you’re traveling with friends or a group, you’ll want to consider how far apart your staterooms are.

It also means that you can't sit on your balcony or Infinite Veranda and look out a small section without leaving the entire thing open and possibly disturbing a sleeping cabin mate. There is also a mini-fridge (feel free to ask your room attendant to remove the pre-stocked -- and extra-fee -- items from inside), and bedside stands with small drawer and cubby hole. The bedside lights have a stand into which are built a 110-volt outlet and USB ports. By far the largest stateroom with a veranda - plenty of room for you and the family. Celebrity Edge Cabins to Avoid

It’s the little things that make a big difference, such as a welcome lunch, a destination seminar and dedicated service throughout your journey. If you’re cruising to Alaska or another destination that sails through stunning natural landscapes, opting for a veranda stateroom is a great way to witness these sights without having to leave your room. Take wellness classes like yoga and meditation, and get unlimited access to the exclusive SEA Thermal Suite on Celebrity Edge. As is implied by their name, they have no windows and no balconies for natural light or fresh air. These are stellar options for anyone on a budget or travelers who have trouble sleeping with any sort of light.

Our favorite furniture/design element is the desktop white jewel box container in which you'll find the main outlets for charging your electronics (there are 110V, 220V and USB outlets). All closets have hanging space for long items; some also have a small section for shorter items to hang. Full-sized closets (found in most standard rooms) also have three small drawers; all have a small safe. Located at either end of the ship, in the Deluxe Porthole View with Veranda you’ll have the choice to relax in your spacious living area, or step outside to enjoy morning coffee and evening sunsets. 170 possible options of connecting staterooms make it easier than ever for families and friends to connect at sea. Combine two adjoining Edge Staterooms with Infinite Verandas to become one.

The balcony is stocked with regular chairs, loungers and sofas, a hot tub, and plenty of space for entertaining passengers outside. Relax and enjoy your accommodations in front of large windows that offer spectacular cruise views. Each ocean view stateroom on Celebrity ships includes world-class amenities to create luxurious experiences. Royal Suites come in at 667 square feet and sleep four, though there is just one bedroom. The separate living room includes a sofa bed and there is also a separate cloakroom.

The Retreat includes stunning accommodations, a private restaurant, and exclusive lounge that rival any high-end resort. With the largest veranda of any Edge Series stateroom, these offer superb ocean views at the stern of the ship. Featuring two beds and a sitting area with a convertible full-size sofa bed, the Xpedition Suite is perfect for a group of three or four looking to explore the Galapagos Islands. You’ll have open-air access to the sea, where you can even dine in your suite al fresco. At 337 square feet and featuring a spa tub and shower, the Premium Sky Suite is a good option for couples on a romantic getaway. The Retreat® features exclusive spaces, accommodations, venues, and services to elevate your vacation.

The ultimate in spa-inspired experiences, these staterooms indulge at every turn. See how Kelly Hoppen, CBE, departs from traditional industry thinking and brings a completely fresh perspective to Celebrity Edge® series staterooms. As noted above, the bathrooms get much nicer on Celebrity Solstice as you go up in category. Speaking of the automatic blinds, they're nifty but we weren't thrilled with them because there's no way to peek out of them without opening them enough to let in a lot of light.
